Online Presence with an Effective & Appealing Website
This is where it starts!
$150 INTERNET
EXPRESS
This package includes:
1)
Google Local Business Directory Listing
After visiting
your business to gather information and shoot photographs, I will upload as much
information to Google’s Local Business Directory as they allow, including
a correct map placement (they’ve probably already mis-located you, but I
can fix it…) plus ten of the best photographs, a short narrative, up to five
business categories, the hours you keep, payment types you’ll accept, etc.
2)
Your
Own Webpage @ www.ValleyoftheRogue.com
including a listing in the local business
directory of this well-established local website, page-ranked by Google and well-indexed by
all the major search engines.
A member-domain
of The Rogue Planet Network, VotR is also directly linkable from several other
websites that deliver highly sought after local content, all expertly
search-engine optimized to rank high when folks look for almost anything
Southern Oregon related, although focused primarily on the Grants Pass
community.
Your Valley of
the Rogue webpage will include all of your basic business information, much as
what will go in the Google directory, plus a wider selection of photographs,
some of which can be displayed in dynamic slideshows I’ll also write up a
lengthier description of what you and your business are about (Google lets me
write 200 characters worth, but for the webpage I recommend 300 to 500
words.) In addition, there will be a large interactive map of your
neighborhood, centered upon a lone marker which pinpoints your location. If you
already have a website, then I’ll have the Google directory link directly to it,
and we can also provide a link from your Valley of the Rogue webpage as well
your listings in our other directories, maps and search results. Otherwise,
your Google link will point to your Valley of the Rogue webpage (you can change
it later if you wish.) I will also place a link on your webpage to your Google
directory listing, with a kind note asking your satisfied customers to click
through and write a business review!
Of course it
isn’t enough for people to find you on the Internet. They must then be
persuaded to come downtown for a closer look. This is foremost in my mind as I
craft local business listings and webpages, and especially as I shoot and
digitally fine tune photographs – showing people your most rare and delightful
treasures in a manner certain to arouse further curiosity – to motivate a desire
to come to your place of business and hold these precious things in their very
hands. Then you’ve got ‘em!.
Certain online
“yellow pages” providers offer a Google deal similar to what I’ve outlined
above, for about three times what I charge and with virtually no art, not even
photographs. Furthermore, not knowing Grants Pass from Grant’s Tomb, they’ll
leave your Google map marker exactly as it is, probably pointing halfway up the
block. The yellow page guys also offer a “webpage,” pretty much a bare-bones
listing in their online phonebook.
I’m John
Granacki, I know Grants Pass, and in this neck of the woods there’s no one who
does Internet better.
I have several
local websites already up and running, plus several more in progress, all
intricately cross-linked so as to maximize returns and placement in Grants Pass
and Southern Oregon related searches, while providing original and interesting
content in a variety of templates and formats that attract readers and tickle
the fancies of all the major search engines. If you’d like me to build something
more extreme in the way of a website, perhaps a blog, an e-commerce outlet, a
social-networking site, or most anything else the Internet can provide and
withstand, then yes I can! But first let’s get you listed in these
online directories.
